POTSDAM -- Mh Studios salon's display at 63 Market St. has won this year's Potsdam Chamber of Commerce Holiday Window Display Contest.
The three judges and a photographer braved the cold temperatures on Friday evening, Dec. 13 to look at all the entries.
Participating businesses this year were Misty Hollow, Today’s Hair & Day Spa, Bicknell Appliance, Mh Studios, Harris Medical, Maple Run Emporium, The Hop, Potsdam IGA, Evans & White, Main Street Chocolates, and Willow Tree Florist.
“It was once again a tough year to judge,” Executive Director Marylee Ballou said. “There were some great ideas out there.”
Top honors went to Mh Studios for their eye-catching pink tree and huge packages and ornaments.
They were followed closely by Maple Run Emporium in second for their classic style with lights, wreaths and and poinsettias. Rounding out the top three was Misty Hollow with their fantastic toy-filled display and nod to "Polar Express."
Each will receive a handmade award ribbon, and Mh Studios will be given pizza from the pizzeria of their choice.
