MASSENA -- Jefferson Elementary School is receiving a grant from the Exxon Mobil Educational Alliance Program.

The school will get $500 to support science and math classes.

The school was eligible for the funding because the district includes an Exxon Mobil dealer, Adirondack Energy Products.

“I applaud the efforts to seek other funding sources outside of taxation and state aid,” school board trustee Kevin Peretta said.
