MASSENA -- Dar’s Restaurant may soon close if it doesn’t find a new home, according to its owner, Dar Tyler.
“My contract’s done and the hotel’s got other plans,” she said.
She said she’s been looking around for a new building, but hasn’t had any luck.
The restaurant is housed at the Comfort Inn, 10 West Orvis St.
Tyler declined to go into specifics about why the hotel won’t renew the contract, except to say that it expires on or about Jan. 21.
She said business has been dwindling and she has lost several employees with the news that they will soon close.
The restaurant opened on Jan. 21, 2010 and serves lunch and dinner.
