MASSENA – Massena Town Supervisor Joe Gray along with his wife, Marcy, and partners Paul Morrow and Paul Post, recently purchased Massena's iconic Hotel Nadeau on Andrews Street.
They are the latest owners in a long list. The bar, which opened in 1928, is Massena's oldest continuously operating bar.
"We are making lots of changes and improvements," Gray reported in a Facebook post. "The "new" Hotel Nadeau should be open before Thanksgiving."
The owners want to add a touch of nostalgia to the place and have asked for any old souvenirs, momentos, etc., from the tavern's years gone by. Old advertisements, photos, wooden nickels and the like are being sought.
