MASSENA -- The Town Council is trying to find citizens willing to fill 10 seats on various local boards.
“There’s no guarantee you’ll get the board you want, you may be appointed to another board” or considered for a seat in the future, Town Supervisor Joe Gray said Wednesday night.
The seats are:
• Planning board: Two seats, one unexpired through Dec. 31, 2017, one to fill a seat opening Jan. 1.
• Zoning board: One vacant seat that expires Dec. 31, 2015, one seat opening Jan. 1.
• Hospital board: Three seats, all beginning terms on Jan. 1.
• Rescue squad board: One seat opening Jan. 1.
• MED board: One seat opening Jan. 1.
• Joint recreation commission: One seat opening Jan. 1.
