MASSENA -- Scott Wilson of Massena met up with members of the crew of the Navy's U.S.S. Gettysburg while during reenactments at the 152nd anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg.
In the photo, Wilson, who participates in Civil War reenactments as a Union major, is shown in the campaign hat standing next to "Private" Zachary Monroe, also of Massena.
They were at the Gettysburg battlefield on July 3, the anniversary of the last day of the battle.
Surrounding them, along with other reenactors, are crew from the U.S.S. Gettysburg, who were there to bring back historical artifacts from the ship to the National Park Museum.
