MASSENA -- The town has some inventory from the Massena Museum they are looking to offload at little or no cost and will auction the rest Aug. 31.
Town Supervisor Joseph Gray said there is a storage bin behind the new museum, the Celine Philibert Cultural Center and Museum, holding desks, chairs and filing cabinets from the old museum.
Anyone interested in acquiring them can contact the supervisor’s office at 769-3588. If it isn’t sold or claimed by Aug. 31, it will go to the transfer station.
Meanwhile, the rest of the inventory that couldn’t fit in the new building will be auctioned at Chappy’s Auction Barn in Ogdensburg on Aug. 31 at noon.
