MASSENA -- The Greater Massena Chamber has announced the winners of the 2010 Holiday Decorating Contest.
Residential contestants were divided into two separate geographic locations (north and south of the Grasse River) and were judged on originality, use of lighting design, and overall property presentation.
Michael Gleason, executive director, thanked the winners: Cheri and Leland Farnsworth, 153 Andrews St., and Julie and Mike Hurlbut, 86 Cougar Point, in the residential contest. said.
Chamber President Miriam Catapano said, “We are also pleased to be giving a special recognition to one other residence – Val Haven Home for Adults, 10 Woodlawn Ave., for their decorating creativity.”
The winner in the businesses category is Frenchies Chevrolet. They will take get traveling plaque that was donated by Peets Jewelers.
All winners will be honored at the December Massena Chamber Business After Hours on Thursday, Dec. 16 at Dar’s Restaurant, Main and West Orvis Streets, at 5:30 pm.
