MASSENA -- Reckless Hockey, LLC, a new Massena-based hockey company, is launching their Transgression model stick made of a carbon/Kevlar hybrid material.
The official launch date for the for their new stick is Jan. 1, “but we are now taking pre orders until Nov. 30th at a discounted price,” said CEO Selwyn S. Jamurath and COO Edward A. Brown in a press statement.
They believe Reckless Hockey’s Transgression will "improve shot velocity as well as be far more durable than a traditional composite hockey stick due to the use of Kevlar."
They said that Reckless Hockey was formed to "address problems inherent with today's hockey products in the market and improve upon design, durability and cost." Their current focus is North America “and once a foundation is built locally we intend to expand globally to address the same issues plaguing hockey players around the world,” said Jamurath and Brown.
The Transgression also comes with Reckless Hockey’s industry leading six-month stick replacement program that will save players and parents a substantial amount of money replacing broken sticks,” the owners said.
The company's website is http://www.recklesshockey.com/ and they are also on Facebook.
