Long-time prominent Ogdensburg law firm to dissolve Jan. 1; attorneys to continue practicing from two offices

OGDENSBURG-- Long standing Ogdensburg law firm Carlisle Carrothers and Clough will dissolve Jan. 1, according to a letter issued to its clients.

Preston C. Carlisle will continue his practice at 602 State St., while Alice J. Carrothers, Molly E. Clough and Rebecca A. Sismer will form a new firm.

That firm will be called Carrothers & Clough and will be located at 1031 Paterson St., the letter said.

Clients will be able to choose either firm to continue service, or seek a new firm of their choosing.

Clients will also have the option of picking up their files until a suitable replacement is found, the letters says.

According to the letter, clients represented by the firm should contact Carlisle, Carrothers and Clough as soon as possible and before the Jan. 1
