OGDENSBURG -- St. Lawrence Federal Credit Union will sponsor a holiday food drive to help area families from Tuesday, Nov. 1 through Friday, Nov. 18.
The Thanksgiving food drive is co-sponsored by The Church and Community Program in Canton and The Ogdensburg Neighborhood Center.
"In past years our members and the community have always donated generously to their neighbors with food donations for the holidays," said St. Lawrence Federal Credit Union CEO Todd Mashaw.
It is a wonderful way to get into the spirit of giving by donating food to stock local food pantries that see increased activity this time of year."
Those interested in donating non-perishable food items may do so at any of the three St. Lawrence Federal branches at 800 Commerce Park Drive and 333 State St. in Ogdensburg, or 33 Court St. in Canton.
Suggested items include canned soups and vegetables, stuffing mix;, pie filling and crust mix, hot roll mix and cranberry sauce.
