GOUVERNEUR -- Local Chrysler Group dealership Team Blevins recently helped raise $2,190 in funding for West Side Elementary School with Chrysler brand’s “Drive for the Kids” program.
“The Chrysler brand and our local dealerships are committed to giving back to the communities where we do business,” said Jeff Kommor, Director at the Northeast Business Center for Chrysler Group LLC.
Participants earned a $10 contribution to the school on their behalf from the Chrysler brand by taking a brief test drive in a 2013 model Town & Country minivan - highest ranked in loyalty 11 years in a row, as well as other Chrysler vehicles made available for test drives thanks to Team Blevins,
“We are extremely proud to support both schools and organizations, as they encourage student development and growth, said Kommor”
At the conclusion of the program, the school with the highest number of test drives in each one of the five geographic regions will win an additional $5,000, for a total of $25,000 in additional funding from Chrysler through the program.
