POTSDAM – A gastroenterologist has joined Canton-Potsdam Hospital’s medical staff.
Maureen Daye, M.D., received her undergraduate degree in biology from St. Lawrence University in Canton, and her medical degree from the State University of New York’s Health Science Center in Syracuse. She completed a fellowship in therapeutic and diagnostic endoscopy, and in endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) at McGill University, Montreal.
As part of her McGill fellowship in adult gastroenterology, Daye completed training that included pediatric gastroenterology at Massachusetts General Hospital and Children’s Hospital, affiliates of Harvard University, Boston. Her residency and internship in general internal medicine were completed at Tuft’s University in Boston.
Daye is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and board certified in gastroenterology. She has conducted research in inflammatory bowel disease and breast cancer.
Daye’s private office practice is in Massena.
