POTSDAM – Garden Place Estates, owned by Ron Page, recently donated over $2,600 worth of toys to Toys for Tots at the Potsdam Police Station.
People can drop off new, unwrapped donation in the front lobby of the police station, 38 Main St., from Nov. 11 through Dec. 16.
Toys for Tots is a campaign that collects toys to be distributed as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.
The police department said it is excited to take part in the program to help send a message to needy children that someone cares; that they haven’t been forgotten; and that the magic of Christmas hasn’t passed them by.
