POTSDAM -- The village will allow free parking downtown during the Christmas shopping season from Nov. 14 to Dec. 31.
“The Potsdam Chamber of Commerce appreciates this decision by the village,” said chamber Executive Director Marylee Ballou.
“It supports our efforts to encourage people to shop small, shop local, and shop Potsdam during the holidays,” Ballou said
“It will certainly assist our Shop Small passport event which begins on Small Business Saturday, Nov. 28 and runs through Dec. 12.”
