POTSDAM – A ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of the new Five Guys restaurant on Market Street originally scheduled for Monday has been postponed until construction of the building is complete.
The restaurant still plans a “soft opening” today.
Five Guys, "Handcrafted Burgers and Fries since 1986," offers six kinds of hamburgers and cheeseburgers, three kinds of hot dogs and a few meat-free sandwiches, and French fries, “Five Guys style” and Cajun style, milk shakes and sodas.
Work on the restaurant, on the site of a former Stewart’s Shop, has been underway for most of the summer and is nearing completion.
