Potsdam Curves to have Grand Re-Opening Oct. 23 &24

POTSDAM -- Potsdam Curves is having a grand re-opening at its new location in the Aubuchon Village Mall, 63 Market St., Friday and Saturday, Oct. 23 and 24.
The Potsdam Chamber of Commerce will hold the ribbon cutting at 5 p.m. on Friday.
Among the special attractions for the event is an offer of no service fee for the first 20 women to join Curves during the event. They are also offering special deals to former members who renew.
Owner Keegan Brown says the community is welcome to stop in and vote on their “Decorate Your Bra” contest. Members have decorated bras to raise awareness about breast cancer. For every decorated bra, Curves is donating money to a program that helps those diagnosed with cancer get support throughout their treatment.
Students from Seaway Area Tech cosmetology class will provide free mini manicures to anyone that attends the grand re-opening on Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m.
Curves specializes in a 30-minute fitness solution with a common sense weight loss program that helps break the weight loss cycle.
Brown says, “Our facility is designed so women can encourage and support one another while moving around the circuit.”
