County chamber sponsoring workshop on securing government contracts Oct. 7
CANTON -- The St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring its monthly workshop on Wednesday, Oct. 7 from 10 a.m. to noon at the County Chamber office, 101 Main St., to assist any local or regional business in learning about securing government contracts.
Guest speakers are Joe Anderson from Anderson Marketing LLC, and Claire Seiferth of the Procurement Technical Assistance Center in Watertown, who will answer questions about securing government contracts.
Anderson offers government market coaching, consulting and training to small businesses and specializes in federal procurement preference programs for service-disabled veteran-owned businesses, 8(a) firms, and HubZone business.
Seiferth assists businesses with getting information about government contracts and filing proper paperwork.
Any interested business or individual should call the Chamber office at 386-4000 to reserve a seat.
These workshops are held monthly, so if you can’t make it to this session, you can ask to be contacted about future workshops.
