Community Bank names new manager in Potsdam

POTSDAM -- Community Bank System has appointed Victoria Strader as Potsdam Branch Manager, in charge of the bank’s Market Street and May Road locations.
Strader replaces Joyce Lalonde, who retired after 45 years in banking.
In her new position, Strader, a 26-year employee at Community Bank, N.A., will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the branches, coordinating employee efforts and programs, and assisting bank customers with loans, personal and commercial accounts, and a variety of financial products and services.
Lalonde started in banking at Star Lake National Bank in 1964. She became an assistant manager in 1978 and an assistant vice president in 1981.
Lalonde became manager of the Potsdam office in 1985 and was named vice president in 1986 before becoming a district manager shortly after that.
