Prominent Potsdam, Ogdensburg accounting firms merge

POTSDAM – Potsdam accounting firm Pinto, Mucenski and Watson, PC is merging with Ogdensburg accounting firm Hooper and Van House.
“Both firms have a similar practice,” said Pinto, Mucenski and Watson partner Tom Peet.
“We have client bases in similar areas. It just seemed to be a good fit in terms of personalities and the firms’ clienteles.” Peet said.
Pinto, Mucenski and Watson also has an office in Massena.
The new firm’s name will be Pinto, Mucenski, Hooper, Van House and Co., and will continue with general accounting work including management advisory, tax, and audit services.
The two firms have been working together since July 1.
