All farmers and ranchers in St. Lawrence County and around the country should have received their Census of Agriculture forms by now, and the USDA is reminding farmers that the completed forms should be returned by Feb. 4.
Federal law requires all producers to participate in the census, and also requires the information on the forms be kept confidential.
Farmers can return their forms online by visiting a secure website, www.agcensus.usda.gov or by mail.
