MASSENA -- On the eve of a public input session for a possible new air carrier in Massena, Cape Air officials are touting their nearly three decades in the air travel business.
Town residents will get their say in a proposal to switch central air providers at Massena International Airport.
Cape Air, their existing air carrier, and Boutique Air each made pitches to the town on Nov. 16. Read more about that here.
On Wednesday, people can voice their opinions at the Town Hall at 5:30 p.m. in the second floor board room.
“We are a stable airline that is celebrating 27 years of serving communities across the US,” Cape Air Vice President Trish Lorino said via email.
They fly three times per day to Albany and Boston.
Boutique Air says they will offer two routes for non-stop service to Buffalo, Baltimore, Chicago, Boston or Albany and use “faster, quieter pressurized planes with reclining leather seats.”
Anyone unable to attend the meeting can email supervisor@town.massena.ny.us. Boutique Air’s website is www.boutiqueair.com and phone number is 1-801-300-6321 or 1-855-268-8478.
