A doctor who treats patients at Massena, Ogdensburg and Gouverneur Center for Sight clinics and who is also a member of Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center staff was recently lauded by a medical magazine.
Dr. Noaman Sanni was lauded as a “Top Doctor” by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd.
The winners are submitted to the publication by their peers and reviewed by a nomination team, their the Castle Connolly website says.
Sanni completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Chicago Hospitals where he was selected as chief resident. He went on to do his cornea and refractive surgery fellowship under some of the pioneers in the field at St. Louis University, Anheuser-Busch Eye Institute. Before starting in ophthalmology, he completed three years of training in internal medicine. he was one of the first surgeons performing Lasik and Intacs in the Syracuse and Watertown areas.
He is certified in ophthalmology. He is also on staff at CHMC, Samaritan Medical Center, Carthage Area Hospital and River Hospital.
