CRARY MILLS – The “Mighty Mall” is up for auction.
The antique shop known as the Crary Mills Mighty Mall, run by Roger and Ann Huntley for 25 years, will be sold off, along with contents, in an auction Tuesday, June 21 at the property at 177 Cty. Rt. 35, Canton.
The auction is being run by Blanchard’s Auction Service of Potsdam and Manasse Auctioneers of Whitney Point.
Roger Huntley himself had been a well-known, long-time auctioneer. He died last November.
For years, the building was a general store and post office. The property includes a two-bedroom apartment and an open lot next to a brook.
The Huntleys had built up the antique business over the years, and many pieces will be in the auction, including items such as antique showcases, early cash register, large safe, a refrigerator from the 1930s, furniture and glassware.
The auction begins at 5 p.m. June 21; a preview begins at 4 p.m. An open house is from 5 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 14.
The property will be sold as is, to the highest bidder regardless of the price.
