GOUVERNEUR -- A class on new methods of growing strawberries in field soil will be held March 5 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Cambray Court Activity Center, 68 West Main St. #2.
The cost is $5 per person and includes lunch.
The event is led by Cornell Cooperative Extension specialists and Cornell University researchers who will present information about annual production systems, detecting and managing soil-borne pests and using biological control of root weevil complex.
A snow date of March 21 is planned.
