POTSDAM -- Clarkson University President Tony Collins on Thursday will moderate a panel discussion entitled "Commercializing University-Based Innovation – Accelerating Growth in NYS" at the annual meeting of the Business Council of New York State.
The event will take place in in Bolton Landing.
Collins advocates partnerships between higher education and industry that move research discovery and engineering innovation to enterprise for commercialization and economic development with a focus on advancing sustainable energy solutions and environmental technology innovation.
The Business Council of New York State is a leading business organization in New York State, representing the interests of large and small firms throughout the state. Its members are thousands of companies as well as local chambers of commerce and professional and trade associations.
