POTSDAM -- Clarkson University's Entrepreneurship Center will offer the popular My Small Business 101 series in Potsdam this fall starting Sept. 20.
Small-business people in all stages of business are invited to attend four weekly two-hour sessions. Each week, Marc Compeau, director of the Entrepreneurship Center, will focus on a different topic, including Thinking Strategically, Resource Management, Marketing Management and Financial Management.
The course will be held on Monday, Sept. 20, and the next three Mondays from 6 to 8 p.m. in Snell Hall on the Clarkson campus.
Registration is required and the course is free.
Those interested in attending should contact Erin Draper at the Entrepreneurship Center by Monday, Sept. 13, at 268-3995 or edraper@clarkson.edu. Registrations are on a first-come, first-served basis.
The center had a combined 65 small business owners in attendance during the Ogdensburg and Louisville series this summer. The course is also being taught in Saranac Lake this fall.
