POTSDAM -- The Clarkson Inn is partnering with Stash Hotel Rewards, a loyalty program for independent hotels, to offer travellers points that they can redeem for future stays at boutique hotels across the country.
Stash Hotel Rewards members can earn and redeem points.
Famous guests have frequented the inn since its doors opened over 30 years ago. Adam Sandler, Pauly Shore, the Harlem Globetrotters, The Beach Boys, Renee Fleming, Judy Collins, the Goo Goo Dolls, scores of professional athletes, and many more have rested their heads at the comfortable and luxurious hotel.
Dennis Miller even donned a wig and glasses to maintain his anonymity. Legend has it that actor M. Emmet Walsh, known for his cantankerous personality, once told a desk clerk to "go smoke a beer and drink a cigar."
