MASSENA -- The Town Council voted to switch banks due to problems with their now former financial institution.
They voted 5-0 on Wednesday to switch from Key Bank to NBT Bank.
“The rationale is we do the bulk of our banking at NBT,” Town Supervisor Joseph Gray said. The hope is [they] will be more attentive.”
“There’s been too many difficulties with Key Bank. Things aren’t getting done,” Town Clerk Pam Catanzarite said.
