OGDENSBURG -- Carbino’s Jewelers, 304 Ford St., is closing up shop after 117 years.
“It was a very difficult decision for our family, but we made the decision to close our store for health reasons and retire,” owners Greg and Brenda Carbino said in a statement include in an ad on NorthCountryNow.com and in North Country This Week.
The store will begin an extended going-out-of-business sale Wednesday with discounts at 50 to 70 percent on wedding rings, gemstone jewelry, diamond earrings, pendants, silver jewelry and more.
They are closed through Nov. 17 to prepare.
Nov. 18 hours are noon to 7 p.m. Nov. 19 and 20 will be from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 21 will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
