CANTON – The Glow Skincare and Spa will start up its $1,000 Glow Weight Loss Challenge Friday, Sept. 21.

The spa, at 75 Main St., will run the contest through Friday, Nov. 16, with a final weigh-in.

The Glow has partnered with Feed the Soul Nutrition in Watertown and Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center in Ogdensburg to offer this weight-loss incentive.

The person who loses the most weight as a percentage of body fat will win the top prize of $1,000. Second prize is a sports bicycle, and third prize is a nutritional basket and other items.

The challenge includes nutritional counseling, health indicator screenings before and after the challenge, a cooking class, exercise classes, and weekly weigh-ins.

Those who wish to participate must attend an orientation session Wednesday, Sept. 19 at a location to be announced.
