CANTON -- The village is seeking proposals from qualified businesses or individuals to run food service at the village-owned Partridge Golf Club.
As an independent contractor, the business or individual will be responsible for the operation and management of the kitchen and dining facility, which will be open to the general public during the golf season (April 1 through Nov. 1).
The manager will be called upon to provide catered food service for banquets and other scheduled events and be responsible for all necessary insurances, licenses and permits.
Sealed proposals will be received until 4 p.m. Feb. 16, addressed to Mayor Mary Ann Ashley at 60 Main Street, Canton, New York 13617. Emailed or faxed proposals will not be accepted.
“We are confident that a new provider will meet the standards that are expected by the village board,” Ashley said. “ It is a beautiful course that has been in existence for close to 20 years and that can be attributed to the dedicated individuals that work as a team. Our goal is to continue as a top notch course and give golfers a wonderful experience at an overall reasonable price.”
