POTSDAM -- Canton-Potsdam Hospital’s new $8 million cancer center, at the front of the hospital’s Leroy Street building, is complete and is in operation in advance of an open house Saturday, Oct. 29.
The Center for Cancer Care was built to replace the aging cancer center at the SeaComm Plaza, and to provide facilities for both chemotherapy and radiation therapies to be better coordinated and done in the same place, and to be in close proximity to the hospital’s other on-campus services.
On Saturday, Oct. 29, from 10 a.m. to noon, visitors can tour the facility, learn about its state-of-the-art technology, and meet physicians Dr. Gold and Dr. Hauerstock.
Refreshments will be available.
RSVPs are not required.
