POTSDAM -- General surgeon Dr. Shockpin Chungfat was honored recently at a dinner with medical staff from St. Lawrence Health System following his retirement.
Chungfat opened a private practice on Market Street in 1978, performing surgeries at Canton-Potsdam Hospital, where he also served as chairman of the Department of Surgery for many years.
