POTSDAM -- Darlene Lewis, PhD, MS, has joined Canton-Potsdam Hospital as vice president for human resources. Lewis replaces Jack Davis, who resigned to move closer to family members.
Lewis comes to CPH from Northern Arizona Healthcare/Flagstaff Medical Center. Previously, she was senior vice president at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Boston; vice president and chief HR officer at the University of Chicago Medical Center, Chicago; associate vice chancellor at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, Tenn.; and vice president at the University of Pittsburgh Magee-Women’s Hospital, Pittsburgh.
Since arriving at CPH, Lewis has been instrumental in modernizing and streamlining the online recruitment process, as well as updating CPH health benefits to align them with industry standards and make them more attractive to prospective employees.
