CANTON -- Dr. John Batich, OB/GYN, has moved his practice from the street level to the lower level of the EJ Noble Professional Building, 80 E. Main St.

Dr. Batich will join Obstetrician and Gynecologist Peter Dargie in his suite near the rear of the west wing of the building.

He earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersy in Newark, NJ. He subsequently completed medical residencies in OB/GYN at Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, the Jamaica Queens Hospital in Queens, NY, and the Albany Medical Center in Albany.

His office practice encompasses comprehensive women’s healthcare, including health screening examinations, diagnosis and treatment for gynecologic disorders and infections, and assistance in adjusting to menopause.

Dr. Batich delivers newborns at Canton-Potsdam Hospital along with Tatiana DiCoby, DO, Peter Dargie, MD, and Laurie Mousaw, CNM. He also performs gynecologic surgeries in Potsdam. Working in collaboration with Holly Moskowitz, NP; Dr. Batich offers OB/GYN services at 77 West Barney St., Gouverneur.
