CANTON -- A local practice in counseling and psychotherapy is now accepting insurance for payment.
Dave Nelson, LCSW, operates North Country Community Counseling Services, in the Tallman building on Rt. 11, offering mental health services for individuals and families.
Services are now covered by St. Lawrence/Lewis BOCES and Resolve Health Care plans.
Other plans may be reimbursable directly to patients.
Nelson, a clinical social worker licensed in New York who has taught courses at Clarkson University and SUNY Canton, specializes in the treatment of anxiety and depression, relationship counseling, family transitions, self-esteem, stress, substance abuse, and grief counseling.
