Part of the chamber’s “Eat Local, Buy Local, Be Local” initiative, Spring Fling is set for Friday and Saturday, April 15 and 16.
“We encourage businesses and organizations to participate by using the theme to create a special sale or activity that will entice families and shoppers to spend the day in Potsdam,” said Chamber Executive Director Marylee Ballou.
“We would like to have a variety of activities for all age groups,” she said, in categories such as younger kids, teens, college age, adults, and seniors.
Ballou has a list of events from previous years, to help spur ideas.
All participating business will receive a sign to display on their doors and listing in all marketing for the events.
In order to take part in all marketing promotions, event registrations are due at the chamber by March 21.
More info can be had by calling the chamber office at 274-9000 or emailing to potsdam@slic.com.
A registration form can be picked up at the chamber office, 24 Market St., and can be dropped off there, faxed to 274-9222, or mailed to them at PO Box 717, Potsdam, NY 13676.
