GOUVERNEUR -- A Gouverneur business is among small businesses from a variety of industries to be recognized at the U.S. Small Business Administration’s 15th Annual Small Business Excellence Awards luncheon in Syracuse on today.
The Bountiful Harvest Natural Food Store, owned and run by Norine Dowling and Rushteen Dowling-Hughes, will be recognized by the SBA, the New York Business Development Corporation, area lenders and economic developers in attendance at the luncheon.
Bountiful Harvest is at 137 E. Main St., Gouverneur. It was nominated by the Canton Small Business Development Center
In addition to 23 Small Business Excellence award winners, SBA will recognize three local Small Business Week award winners for their outstanding achievements and the positive impact they’ve had on the economy and communities in upstate New York.
