PARISHVILLE CENTER – The Birch Bark Book Shop, 40 Ashton Rd., is limiting its open hours.
Owner Tim Strong, also an author and printer, says the store will be open from 1 to 6 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays only beginning Nov. 2.
Strong says he is semi-retired after an illness, and he is doing much better now, but he wishes to limit the amount of time the store is open.
The main store in Parishville Center, opened more than 20 years ago, contains 80,000 used books and vintage titles.
The Birch Bark Book Shop has more titles at branches in the flea market in Canton’s University Plaza and at North Country Neighbors on Main Street in Potsdam.
