BRASHER FALLS -- The Tri-Town Chamber of Commerce recently held a ribbon cutting for Audrey's Second Hand and More, 907 Main St.
The store offers second hand clothing, shoes, accessories, a large selection of formal wear and bridal gowns. The store also offers a selection of crafts including handmade signs, primitive and holiday decor.
The store was started to help local high school kids find affordable options for formal wear for homecoming and prom and quickly grew from there once the partners realized that there was a great need for a second hand shop in the area, a press release said.
The partners, Amy Durham, Karen Krise, Amanda Stark, and Christina White started with donations gathered from the community and from their own closets and got to work. All of the items are inspected for stains and tears, and laundered before being priced and going out on the floor, the release said.
The store is located next to the post office.
Their hours are Tue 12-4, and Wed-Sat 10-4
