CANTON -- An information session on the governor's "Unemployment Strikeforce" will be held Tuesday, April 7, from 3 to 4 p.m. at 19 Commerce Lane, Suite 1.
The chamber will host Paul Nelson, manager for Gov. Cuomo's "Unemployment Strikeforce" for a conversation with county business owners about the pilot initiative.
The goals of the program are to reduce unemployment and ensure investment in the workforce through employer incentives for job training.
