Six towns and three highway corridors in St. Lawrence County are now linked in to AT&T's 4G LTE data network.
Ogdensburg, Massena, Lisbon, Norfolk, Rensselaer Falls, Waddington, and along state routes 37, 56 and 812 can access the service.
4G LTE is a high-speed wireless internet data connection for devices such as smartphones and tablets. It allows for faster-than-average streaming, uploads and downloads.
It is only available to AT&T subscribers.
Verizon began test its 4G LTE network in the North Country last May. For details, see previous story.
