JAY — The Laurentian Chapter of the Adirondack Mountain Club will hike up Long Tom Mountain, the highest peak fully in St. Lawrence County, will be staged Saturday, April 27. This is a bushwhack off the Otterbrook trail northwest of Horseshoe Lake, headwaters of the Grasse River. The group will stay on the Forest Preserve and have views east toward the High Peaks through the trees. Moderately strenuous. Contact Tom Van de Water at 315-261-1723.
