Peggy L. Mousaw, Colton, has been invited to speak for the second year at the NYS Government Finance Officers Annual Conference in Albany on the topic of use of ARPA (American Rescue Plan) Funds.
On Thursday, April 18, Mousaw will be covering the critical points of SAM.GOV as well as ARPA deadlines for obligation and spending of ARPA Funds. Municipalities must obligate all ARPA funds by Dec. 31 and have all funds spent by De . 31, 2026.
Forty three towns and village NEU (non entitlement unit) municipalities in St. Lawrence County received a total of $11,047,223 in ARPA funds.
Mousaw performs consulting services for municipalities in St. Lawrence County as well as throughout NYS. Mousaw is a NYS Certified WBE (Women Owned Business), Chair of the SUNY Potsdam Local Government Conference and an Olympic Level Race Official for USA Luge and USA Bobsled/Skeleton.
