There is a new scoring leader for basketball at Potsdam Central School.
Ian VanWagner, a freshman at PCS, broke the school points record Saturday in an 82=29 win over Norwood-Norfolk Central School.
VanWagner needed 23 to break the record, but scored 28 in the win.
The previous school record was owned by Zach Adams, which was 1,415 points.
His achievement came early in the second quarter.
