Two fires kept firefighters busy Sunday on the west side of the county with fires in Oswegatchie and in Morristown on Sunday, according to Morristown Firefighter Kevin Crosby.
The first fire was reported shortly after noon at 4057 County Route 6 in Oswegatchie.
Heuvelton, Morristown, Brier Hill, Ogdensburg & Hammond fire departments responded to the house fire, Crosby said.
While battling that blaze, he said a second fire was reported at 1:34 p.m. nearby at 2843 CR 6 in Morristown.
The second fire was a barn.
Crosby said Morristown. Brier Hill, Morristown, Heuvelton, Hammond, Rensselaer Falls, Gouverneur, Lisbon, DeKalb, Redwood & Alex Bay fire departments responded to the second fire.
Both structures were considered complete losses and no one was injured.
Also responding to the scenes were the New York State Police, Heuvelton & Morristown Auxiliary's, NYS DOT, National Grid and town of Morristown & Oswegatchie highway crews.
